I’m here in Orlano, the home of Disney World and I can’t help but wonder what would have happened had Walt Disney not had the dream of fun Theme Parks where families could come for a “total Disney experience?” Imagine the boring vacations families would be forced to take if it weren’t for Walt Disney. Let’s face it, all of us who have been to a Disney Park were wrapped up in the wonder of it all!
What’s your dream for your direct selling business? Are you dreaming BIG? The bigger your dream the better your business! Are you afraid to dream too big? Are you afraid of what others might think if you share your vision for success?
Remember, your business will only grow to the level to which you envision it. If you think you will not be successful…you will not be successful. If, like Walt Disney you “believe” and understand you will need to work hard to grow a successful business that will provide residual income for you as you are offering the opportunity of a lifetime to others your business will soar!
Walt Disney’s dream provides us with the opportunity to enjoy the child within us again. Now it’s time for your dreams to come true!
Keep on dreaming!
Creating a mental image of a thriving, prosperous direct selling business is your first step to success. Do you believe there is an abundance of people to contact to sell your products to, book shows with and sponsor into your company? If you don’t believe there’s enough to go around you will never get your share. If on the other hand you believe in the law of abundance and that there is more than enough for everyone in Direct Selling your business will grow and thrive.
Your biggest obstacle to overcome is the 6 inch barricade between your ears. When you learn to control your thoughts and create and “abundance mentality” you are on your way. Author Brian Tracy says, “practice the law of expectation. Whatever you expect to happen, whether negative or positive will become your reality. If you confidently expect to become wealthy as a result of applying your talents and abilities to your opportunities and you maintain the attitude of confident expectations long enough it will become your reality. It will give you a positive optimistic cheerful attitude that will cause people to want ot help you and will cause things to happen the way you want them to happen.”
So clean the cobwebs out of your head and create mental images of the success you want to become and you won’t be disappointed.
Watching people during Sunday Mass this morning made me realize how important the “power of touch” is. I observed moms & dads holding and consoling small children. I watched an elderly couple hold hands during the sermon. I saw a teenage girl holding her mom’s hand. As I watched I realized how important it is to touch someone. Even the smallest gesture can say, “everything’s going to be OK!”
Sometimes we get so busy we don’t take the time to stop and let someone know how much we care. Take a minute today to “touch someone” and I guarantee this simple gesture will make both of you feel good! Go ahead, “reach out and touch someone.”
